Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Commerce Architect to anchor Adobe Commerce delivery in our North America practice. You will own the end-to-end architecture, lead technical discovery, and drive enterprise-grade implementations with ERP/PIM/CRM integrations.

You will collaborate with Content and Data & Martech teams to weave together Adobe Commerce, AEM, and AEP into a coherent customer experience. You will define standards, mentor teams, and participate in pre-sales activities, including SOWs and LOE

Qualifications

• Adobe Commerce expertise with Magento
• Architectural leadership for large-scale eCommerce
• Experience in pre‑sales or solution engineering
• Strong PHP, MySQL, and cache/infra knowledge
• Familiarity with ERP/PIM/OMS/CRM integrations and Cloud infra

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Adobe Commerce architecture, ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Define development standards, reviews, and mentor teams to the architectural vision.
• Lead pre-sales discovery, architect solutions, and prepare technical proposals and SOWs.
• Integrate the Commerce ecosystem with ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM, and payment gateways (AEM, AEP).
• Advise on performance, security, migrations, and TCO for implementations.
