Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Independent Rater who will review clinical rating scales and support rater performance in a Romanian-speaking remote role. The position engages in live discussions, mock interviews, and documentation to ensure data integrity in clinical trials.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of psychiatric assessments and CNS trial experience, with strong English and Romanian language proficiency. It is a part-time, remote opportunity with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work (MD/DO/PhD preferred).
• At least 3 years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, and/or structured clinical interviews (PANSS and SCID).
• At least 3 years of clinical trial experience with psychiatric populations.
• At least 3 years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding graduate/doctoral research).
• Experience in CNS trials preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent organizational and time management.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all required orientation, training, and calibration activities.
• Review case data and prepare for rater discussions, ensuring all relevant documents and assessment materials are available.
• Conduct patient interviews and clinical assessments with study participants.
• Administer, score, and interpret clinical rating scales and structured interviews.
• Provide feedback and guidance to raters on assessment methodology, interview techniques, and scoring accuracy through live interactions.
• Complete assigned assessments, rater interactions, and related activities according to study timelines and schedules.
• Work directly with study participants while maintaining protocol compliance and data quality standards.
• Submit all required documentation, reports, and assessment records accurately and within required timelines.
