Catalyst Capital is hiring its first Chief Information Security Officer to own security across every brand in the group. You will set the strategy, build the program, and personally run the response when something goes wrong.

The role is a player-coach, with about half hands-on, leading a small team of engineers, and the other half directing security across a diversified portfolio of ventures. You will report to Group leadership and translate risk into actionable decisions.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in security, including 3+ years leading a security function as CISO or equivalent at a company of 100+ people.
• Experience leading live-incident response, including briefing executives during incidents.
• Experience building or rebuilding a security program: strategy, policy, tooling, training and incident response.
• AI-native operator with daily use of AI agents to perform detections, code review, and policy work.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own security strategy, roadmap and budget across multiple brands.
• Lead incident response end-to-end, coordinate with legal, forensics, insurers and regulators.
• Own identity and access management, cloud security baselines and least-privilege practices.
• Assess vendor security and third-party risk, set security standards for connections to systems.
• Oversee phishing defense, staff training and phishing simulations; lead brand protection efforts.
• Develop and enforce security policies and drive SOC 2 / ISO 27001 readiness.
• Lead a small, fully remote security team; mentor engineers and balance in-house vs outsourced work.
• Communicate risk in plain language to leadership and stakeholders.
