Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Back End Developers to design, build, and optimize the server-side systems and APIs powering cutting-edge AI products—data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices handling real-world traffic.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract open to engineers across the Netherlands. You can schedule 10–40 hours/week and collaborate asynchronously with researchers and product leads to ship impactful AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing robust backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python/Go/Java/Node.js/Rust).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture to support AI workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with best practices.
