Alignerr is seeking a Cybersecurity Penetration Testing Expert (AI Security) for remote, hourly engagements. You will probe AI-powered applications and infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and report findings with actionable remediation guidance. The role emphasizes autonomous work, strong writing, and staying ahead of AI security threats.

The position offers flexible scheduling and engagement on a contract basis, with opportunities for ongoing work as new AI security projects arise.

Qualifications

• Seasoned penetration tester with offensive security knowledge (OWASP, PTES, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Proficient with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of web, network, and API security testing.
• Excellent written reporting and ability to translate findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests against AI-powered apps, APIs, and infra.
• Identify and exploit AI/ML pipeline weaknesses, including prompt injection.
• Perform web, network, and API security assessments with standard tools.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios from recon to exploitation.
• Document findings with severity, evidence, and remediation guidance.
• Evaluate AI attack surfaces including adversarial inputs and data exfiltration.
• Stay current with AI security threats and improve testing methodologies.
• Work independently on task-based engagements on your schedule.
