Job summary

Covestro Hoek van Holland is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to safeguard the reliability of critical industrial installations in a BRZO site. You will manage maintenance plans, run reliability studies, and drive improvements in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Must have HBO technical level or higher.
• At least 3 years in chemical, petrochemical or process industry.
• Experience in maintenance and/or reliability role preferred.
• Experience with project-based handling of issues (bad actors) is a plus.
• SAP PM experience is a plus.
• Good Dutch and English language skills.
• Analytical, results-driven and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize maintenance plans in SAP PM with focus on reliability.
• Conduct reliability studies, FMEA's, LTE and root cause analyses.
• Analyze production and fault data with Plant Performance Engineer to improve installation performance.
• Identify recurring issues and drive improvements to raise reliability.
• Analyze failures, trends and patterns to implement corrective actions.
• Initiate, prepare and execute technical improvement projects to boost reliability and safety.
• Prepare reassessment plans, risk analyses and PED documentation for periodic inspections.
• Supervise contractors during ATEX and PED inspections.
• Advise on safety processes such as Work Permitting, HAZOP and Management of Change.
• Maintain and present KPI's in weekly management reviews.
• Update technical documentation and archival records.
• Be part of the Global Reliability Community.
