Job summary

VodafoneZiggo in Utrecht seeks a Senior Regulatory Specialist for the Business & Strategy unit. The role focuses on monitoring NL and EU telecom regulation, translating complex rules into clear actions, and advising leaders on topics like the Telecommunications Act and Digital Networks Act.

You will engage with regulators and industry groups, drafting analyses and guidance to shape strategy. Based in Utrecht, the position is full-time with 38–40 hours per week and a monthly salary of 5,600–6,800

Qualifications

• Regulatory expertise in telecom and digital regulation
• Experience analyzing NL/EU telecom laws (e.g., Telecommunications Act, Digital Networks Act)
• Ability to translate regulations into actionable guidance for leaders and teams
• Experience representing a company in industry associations and with regulators

Your job

As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, you are the expert on telecom and digital regulation at VodafoneZiggo. You monitor regulatory developments in the Netherlands and the European Union and translate complex regulations into clear actions for our organization. You advise people leaders and teams on topics such as the Telecommunications Act and the proposed Digital Networks Act, and in particular security-related laws such as the Cyberbeveiligingswet (Network and Information Security Directive 2), the Cyber Resilience Act, and the revision of the Cyber Security Act. You also represent VodafoneZiggo at industry associations and working groups and engage with regulators and government ministries. You write clear analyses and briefings and help teams implement new regulations effectively. This way, you help us stay ready for what's ahead and contribute to our strategic direction.
