Job summary

Euronext in Amsterdam is looking for a Legal & Regulatory Counsel for The Netherlands. You will advise the various business teams and support functions of Euronext Amsterdam and the wider Euronext Group, translating complex legislation into practical guidance.

You are expected to take ownership, work independently, and communicate fluently in Dutch and English. 3–8 years’ experience in a multinational, financial institution, law firm, or regulatory setting is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent lawyer with strong analytical and drafting abilities.
• Commercial, business-oriented attitude and practical mindset.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing and upcoming legislation and regulation and assess their impact on Euronext’s activities.
• Advise the business on new products, services and commercial initiatives.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Euronext’s legal and regulatory framework and policies.
• Advise on regulatory matters and, where relevant, engage with local regulators and other external stakeholders.
• Support on broader corporate and company secretarial matters where required.
