Job summary

OFI in Amsterdam seeks a Regional Category Procurement Manager for Road Transport & WHS Europe to oversee the procurement of transportation and warehousing across Europe. You will report to the Global Head of NCP Logistics Procurement and drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.

You will lead RFPS, develop should-cost analyses, and drive cost reduction opportunities while ensuring quality and timely delivery of logistics services across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, drive and implement three-year plan for Domestic transportation.
• Support business with the development of their warehousing footprint.
• Lead development, negotiation, and execution of key contracts with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of logistics services.
• Lead RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and develop should-cost analysis.
• Develop and drive the organization to identify improvement areas and execute cost reduction opportunities across the freight category. Liaise with business/finance on saving reporting (with support of logistics analyst), tracking progress against budget/savings.
• Responsible for procurement excellence topics related to logistics category with main focus on design (e.g. Source to Pay process, spend classification, vendor master data etc.) with support of logistics analyst for execution.
• Stakeholder Management (supporting their business requirements and identifying opportunity areas)
• Last escalation point for operational challenges related to contract execution (mainly driven by other supply chain team members).

Position Summary

Reporting to the Global Head of NCP Logistics Procurement, the category manager will be responsible for the procurement of Transportation and Warehousing in the European region.
Your main challenge will be to secure the best position for ofi in the domestic logistics market. In this position you will make an important contribution to the domestic logistics strategy working with stakeholders across 6 Business Units and global / regional suppliers.

Position Responsibilities
