Job summary

Industrial Air Company in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to maintain and repair ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems on customer sites nationwide. You will perform preventive maintenance, locate and resolve issues, replace components, and commission installations.

A valid F-gas certificate and an MBO in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are required, plus willingness to travel and on-call duties, with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• MBO in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• F-gas certificate.
• Experience with NH3 and synthetic refrigerants.
• Thorough knowledge of refrigeration and air handling systems.
• Strong communication and solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts.
• Commitment to safety regulations and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration systems at customers' sites.
• Work with ammonia and synthetic refrigerants and travel across the Netherlands.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Locate and resolve issues in refrigeration systems.
• Repair and replace components.
• Commission and test installations.
• Ensure safety and adhere to standards.
• Communicate with customers and provide excellent service.
• Record completed work and report to office.
