Job summary

WLG in The Hague is seeking a penetration tester to join a testing cell for multinational exercises. The role involves leading or joining red and blue teams, plus testing of web, infrastructure and applications on-site in the Netherlands.

You will review security designs, advise on projects, work with accreditation bodies, and brief senior officers on findings and remediation. Travel of around ten days per year is anticipated.

Qualifications

• More than three years of hands-on depth across web app and IT infra pen testing.
• Experience assessing vulnerabilities in OS, software, protocols and networks.
• Strong scripting ability in at least one of Perl, Python, Ruby or shell.
• Clear, structured technical writing for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead or join red/blue teams during multinational exercises.
• Perform web, infrastructure and application-level penetration testing.
• Conduct security design reviews and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide security consultancy and remediation guidance to projects.
• Coordinate with accreditation boards and sign-off authorities.
• Brief technical and executive stakeholders on findings and fixes.
