Job summary

The successful candidate will support diverse learners and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science program and overall student outcomes. Chemistry teaching at Stage 2 is considered an asset and contributes to the role's breadth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level of competency in teaching Science in Years 7–12.
• Ability to teach Chemistry to Stage 2 level would be an advantage.
• Exemplary teaching practices and proven classroom management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current educational issues, curriculum frameworks and national standards for primary and secondary schooling.
• Ability to address students' varying intellectual, emotional and physical abilities in teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to Years 7–12 across the curriculum.
• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance science programs.

Knowledge And Skills Required
