Job summary

WLG in The Hague is seeking an experienced C/C++ developer to deliver changes to radar sensor software on Unix, with a focus on robust engineering practices.

You will implement engineering changes, apply version control with Git, and contribute to testing and documentation while coordinating with radar interfaces and network components.

The role requires several years of Unix experience and strong teamwork; experience with real-time air domain applications and radar interfaces is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid experience developing software in C/C++, with Git.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and documentation.
• Several years of Unix experience.
• Nice-to-have: real-time air domain applications, radar interfaces, and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, DNS).

Responsibilities

• Implementing engineering changes in C/C++ sensor and sensor control software on Unix
• Applying sound engineering practice: version control in Git, testing and documentation
• Working through interfaces with radar and other sensors, and the network side when it gets in the way
• Collaborating closely with the wider engineering team
