Job summary

Sligro is looking for an experienced Reach truck driver to join their team in Veghel, NL. You will refil stock, manage pallets, and support order picking while ensuring product freshness and safety.

The role offers long-term full-time employment with shift allowances and a range of on-site perks, including a canteen and staff events. English proficiency and a valid reach truck certificate are required.

Qualifications

• CV in English is required to apply for this position.
• Experience and valid certifcate as a reach truck driver for at least one year.
• Good physical condition.
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities.
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.
• Minimum B1 level of English.

Responsibilities

Our partner, Sligro, is a market leader in the food wholesale market in the Netherlands. Their company offers food and food-related products and focuses on customers in large—and small-scale catering, recreation, bulk consumers, company restaurants, small and medium-sized businesses, and other industries. Our partner is currently looking for a Reach truck driver with experience to join their team!

This is a long-term and full-time job position.

Responsibilities:

• Refilling and placing new stock in the correct location using the reach truck.
• Making sure that placing pallets in the warehouse and the order-picking process run smoothly.
• Checking the products for the best before the date.
• Reporting damage and imperfections to your manager.
• Removing empty pallets from one warehouse and sending them to the warehouse for shipment to our Central DC in Veghel.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize work.
• Adhering to company policies and regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment usage.

Salary and benefits:

Base rate+ 10.5% holiday allowance. Reach truck drivers at Sligro earn approximately €450 net per week after all deductions.

Allowances:
