Job summary

The European Space Agency invites applications for an internship in the Climate Action, Sustainability and Science Department focused on the ROSE-L mission. Based at ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands, you will join the Campaigns Section of the Earth and Mission Science Division to support preparation, development and validation of future EO missions.

You must be a university student, ideally in your final or penultimate year of a Master's degree, and able to remain enrolled for the internship

Qualifications

• Must be a university student, preferably in final or second-to-last year of a Master's program.
• Ability to enroll at your university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Willingness to work in an international team on ESA EO missions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating sensitivity and added value of L-band radar observations for selected applications.
• Process and analyse spaceborne and airborne radar imagery.
• Contribute to validation of data delivered by EO missions and communicate results clearly.
