Job summary

Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME), based at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, seeks an R2R Accountant to join our Shared Service Center in a dynamic European finance team.

You will manage general ledger activities, closing processes, and provide reliable financial reporting for multiple European entities. You will collaborate with local contacts and Finance Partners, contribute to IFRS compliance, SAP S/4HANA projects, and ongoing process improvements while maintaining accuracy and deadlines in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• Hands-on experience in general ledger, month-end closing, or financial accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Experience with IFRS, tax and intercompany accounting is a plus.
• ERP systems experience; SAP/SAP S/4HANA is preferred; Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting and Closing for European entities with timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet reviews; investigate variances and provide explanations.
• Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure proper support.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation and process improvements.
