Job summary

Danone Nederland is offering an internship in Utrecht within the Pilot Plant & FST team of the SN R&I Process & Technology department. You will manage online dashboards, develop data, create reports and improve data usage with Power BI and Power Automate still in development.

Key tasks include maintaining dashboards, data collection for insights, and analyzing project and budget information while supporting the Data & Digital Senior Manager in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master’s student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Interest in Finance forecasting, budget management and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

About The Job

Are you looking for an internship in a dynamic and complex environment where transforming data into meaningful business insights and driving continuous improvement are at the heart of what you do? We have an exciting opportunity for you within the Pilot Plant & FST team in the SN R&I Process & Technology department at Danone's R&I office in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

We are looking for our next intern to help us manage our online dashboards, data development and maintenance, report creation and improve the use of data by stakeholders. We use Power BI and Power Automate tools that are still in development stages, allowing you to contribute to more efficient use of those tools, the data behind them, and their potential.

Critical success factors in this role will be your ability to process data to support our decision-making process and develop new ways of using the existing datasets and tools.

Your Primary responsibilities will be:

• Maintain and further develop our PowerBI dashboard based on available data in different systems
• Lead the maintenance, handling and collecting of all data used for business insights
• Analyse and visualize project and budget information
• Implement continuous improvements in reporting process efficiency, data accuracy and data quality
• Provide support on day-to-day tasks of the Data & Digital Senior Manager

About You

• You are a Bachelor or Master's student in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Data Science or any related field
• You are highly motivated, like to challenge yourself, and have an eye for detail, allowing you to complete assignments quickly and accurately.
• You have an analytical mindset, an affinity for Finance, data processing and optimization, strong Excel, Power Query and Power BI skills, and a great interest in efficiency and automation.
• You canpresent datathrough a story that everyone can understand
• You are proactive, have strong communication skills, and can work both independently and in a team.
• You are motivated to explore new solutions and implement new tools in a new complex environment
• You can find flexibility or structure where needed
• A good understanding of finance forecasting and budget management is a plus.
• Experience in project management and/or projects portfolio management is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in the food industry is a plus.

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or master’s student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU students, a 3 party agreement signed by the university is required.
• Available to start in January 2027 for a minimum of 6 months, 3-5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Able to work from our Utrecht Danone R&I office at least 2 days per week.
