Job summary

Bolton goes is seeking a Laboratory Technician to help develop and improve adhesives, glues and sealants in an R&D setting. You will prepare samples, conduct selective analytical tests, document results, and report findings to the Senior Product Development Manager.

You will support scale-ups, help implement formulations and develop new test methods. The role requires two years in an industrial lab, Dutch/English fluency, and a safe, independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 degree in Laboratory Technology is required.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English; English essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry is advantageous.
• 1–2 years in an industrial laboratory is a plus.
• Able to work flexibly, safely, independently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory samples for development and maintenance projects.
• Plan and perform analytical, chemical and physical test series with documentation.
• Evaluate test results and report to the Senior Product Development Manager.
• Accompany production scale-ups and support formulation implementation.
• Develop and improve test methods with guidance from the Senior Product Development Manager.
• Monitor laboratory equipment and coordinate maintenance.
