Job description

Your role is to support the R&D team by supporting the validation of IC products and lab infrastructure, design boards/FPGA for validation and emulation, help in (automation of) measurements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support design teams as Lab Validation Engineer for product or IP development;
  • Specify, plan, design and track R&D measurements, debug and evaluation boards.
  • Specify and design FPGA, emulation, prototype of designs
  • Bridge simulation, emulation and validation activities
  • Maintain R&D lab infrastructure, set-ups, boards and supporting software
  • Ensure availability of boards, set-up and supporting SW and generic lab components/tooling

Job requirements:

  • Master degree (or similar level acquired by experience) in electronics.
  • Track record in (Hi-speed) PCB design, FPGA design
  • Experiencedin and affinity with electronic measurement methods, different measurement strategies, Lab equipment, automation.
  • Proven programming skills (preferably languages like Python, LabVIEW, TCL, C)
  • Team player, good communicator, proactive attitude, hand-on mentality.
