Focus Engineering is looking for an R&D Eplan Design Engineer for a machine builder in the Utrecht region.

This is a vacancy with the possibility of direct employment with our client.

Our client is a machine builder focused on the food industry. They are the global market leader in their specific field. From design to development, production, and installation, everything is done in-house, allowing you to experience the entire process. At the client\'s location, there are a total of 600 employees from various nationalities. The R&D department consists of about 40 people, with 15 in the Hardware department. Due to an increase in projects, they are looking for additional support.

Responsibilities

• Developing modular and configurable solutions by converting (complex) technical designs into electrical drawings, all in accordance with the specified requirements and quality standards.
• Verifying and validating the design through simulations, test executions, and reviews to ensure functionality and reliability
• Preparing and maintaining product documentation such as user manuals, material lists, and revision management for proper traceability and usability
• Proposing and implementing improvements in the current R&D processes, for example, by standardizing practices

Qualifications

• Completed education in the field of Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer
• Relevant knowledge of EPLAN
