Job summary

Nouvall Engineering Services BV is seeking an engineer to contribute to hardware and software development from concept to production-ready products. You will participate in prototype development, testing and technical improvements, working closely with colleagues across development and production to ensure designs are robust and manufacturable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience within an R&D, product development or engineering environment is preferred.
• Affinity with both hardware and software development.
• Experience with design and engineering software; CAD software is an advantage.
• Understanding of the connection between product design, prototyping, testing and production.
• Analytical, practical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills and able to work effectively with different technical disciplines.
• Proactive and motivated to keep developing technical knowledge.
• Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test prototypes in office and field environments.
• Support and coordinate testing activities in laboratories where required.
• Contribute to the design and development of hardware and software-based products.
• Translate ideas and technical requirements into practical, production-ready solutions.
• Assist in analysing test results, identifying improvements and solving technical issues.
• Work closely with development and production teams to ensure designs can be manufactured effectively.
• Stay up to date with relevant technical developments, tools and technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and development processes.
