Nouvall Engineering Services zoekt een enthousiaste engineer die meewerkt aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve hardware- en softwareoplossingen van concept tot productieklare producten. Je werkt aan prototypes en testactiviteiten en werkt nauw samen met collega’s van ontwikkeling en productie.

De rol vereist een Bachelor-diploma in een relevante discipline, affiniteit met zowel hardware als software en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or equivalent
• Ervaring in R&D of productontwikkeling is een pré
• Affiniteit met zowel hardware als software ontwikkeling
• Ervaring met CAD software is een voordeel
• Inzicht in de koppeling tussen ontwerp, prototype, testen en productie
• Analytische, praktische en oplossingsgerichte mindset
• Goede communicatie in Nederlands en Engels

Responsibilities

• Prototypeontwikkeling en testen in kantoor- en veldomgevingen
• Ondersteunen van testactiviteiten in laboratoria
• Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van hardware- en softwareproducten
• Ideeën en technische vereisten vertalen naar productieklare oplossingen
• Analyse van testresultaten en bespreken van verbeteringen
• Samenwerken met ontwikkeling en productie om producibility te waarborgen
• Blijf op de hoogte van relevante ontwikkelingen en tools
• Bijdragen aan continue product- en procesverbetering

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative hardware and software solutions from initial concept through to production-ready products. You will be involved in prototype development, testing and technical improvements, working closely with colleagues across development and production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test prototypes in both office and field environments;
• Support and coordinate testing activities in laboratories where required;
• Contribute to the design and development of hardware and software-based products;
• Translate ideas and technical requirements into practical, production-ready solutions;
• Assist in analysing test results, identifying improvements and solving technical issues;
• Work closely with development and production teams to ensure designs can be manufactured effectively;
• Stay up to date with relevant technical developments, tools and technologies;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and development processes.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or a comparable technical discipline;
• Experience within an R&D, product development or engineering environment is preferred;
• Affinity with both hardware and software development;
• Experience with design and engineering software; experience with CAD software is an advantage;
• Understanding of the connection between product design, prototyping, testing and production;
• Analytical, practical and solution-oriented mindset;
• Good communication skills and able to work effectively with different technical disciplines;
• Proactive and motivated to keep developing technical knowledge;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
