JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quantum / Optics Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct experimental work on quantum optics and photonic systems.
  • Design, build, and optimize experimental setups in our Qubitrium lab at Delft.
  • Collaborate on international projects, produce scientific results, and contribute to technical reporting and publications.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop cutting‑edge quantum technologies for space applications.
  • Explore your own personal qualities and ideas to realize your ambitions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • PhD (preferred) or MSc in Physics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Hands‑on experimental experience in Quantum Optics is a must.
  • Strong background in setting up and optimizing experimental systems.
  • Ability to contribute to R&D activities in both national and international projects.
  • Willingness to travel, if and when needed.
  • Fluent in English, in writing and spoken.
