Q*Bird seeks a curious and proactive Network and Systems Engineer to maintain and improve customer deployments and internal IT infrastructure. Your role will involve deploying quantum networking devices, managing LAN, VPN, and firewalls, and providing IT support for employees.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting complex networking and Linux-related issues.
• Comfortable balancing customer-facing and internal operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy quantum networking devices and manage LAN, WAN, and VPN.
• Provide internal IT support for employees, including troubleshooting.
• Monitor infrastructure health and resolve network or system outages.

Skills

Experience in network engineering

Troubleshooting complex networking issues

Experience with Linux systems

Experience with secure communication systems

Clear communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
