Qblox is seeking a Quantum Application Engineer to join our agile product development teams. You will craft user stories, manage the backlog, and bring deep quantum knowledge into software and hardware design for our control stack.

Collaborating with physics and engineering colleagues, you will translate complex quantum concepts into practical features, lead with data-driven decisions, and contribute to an innovative, fast-paced environment that accelerates quantum computing development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics with focus on experimental quantum tech.
• Strong Python programming capability.
• Excellent English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Data-driven decision making with analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated passion for innovation and learning in quantum technologies.

Responsibilities

• Product design & agile development: define features and build the application layer for the control stack.
• Agile leadership: maintain the product backlog and advocate for quantum expertise within engineering teams.
• Testing & UX: test software/hardware integration and verify UI/UX with users.
• Documentation, training & support: create tutorials and user documentation for quantum experiments.
