Job summary

NJF Global Holdings Ltd in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer (C++) to join a world-class High-Frequency Trading team. You will design and optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems, profile across CPUs, memory, and networks, and collaborate with FPGA, software, and infrastructure engineers to push performance to the limit.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in performance-critical C++ development.
  • Strong memory management and CPU architecture knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux internals and kernel tuning.
  • Interest in hardware, networking, and optimization.
  • Experience with low-latency or high-performance distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize high-performance C++ systems for trading and infrastructure.
  • Profile and tune applications across CPU, cache, memory.
  • Collaborate with FPGA engineers to optimize hardware/software interactions.
  • Improve latency, throughput, and overall system performance.

Job description

We're partnering with a leading global quantitative investment firm to find an experienced Quantitative Developer (C++) to join a world-class High-Frequency Trading team in Amsterdam.

This is an opportunity to work on ultra-low-latency trading systems operating at global scale, collaborating with exceptional software, FPGA, hardware, and infrastructure engineers to build technology where every nanosecond matters.

What you'll be doing:
  • Design and optimize high-performance C++ systems for trading, market data, and infrastructure
  • Profile and tune applications across CPU, cache, and memory layers
  • Work closely with FPGA engineers to optimize hardware/software interactions
  • Improve latency, throughput, and overall system performance
  • Contribute to the design of next-generation HFT infrastructure
What we're looking for:
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing performance-critical applications in modern C++ (C++17 or newer)
  • Strong systems programming skills and understanding of memory management and CPU architecture
  • Deep knowledge of Linux internals, kernel tuning, and low-level performance profiling
  • Strong interest in hardware, networking, and performance optimization
  • Experience building low-latency or high-performance distributed systems is highly valued
