Job summary

Coinmerce is strengthening its digital asset trading division and is seeking a Quantitative Crypto Trader who can transform data-driven insights into live, scalable strategies. This is a production-focused role where ideas are implemented, deployed, and measured in real market conditions across multiple exchanges.

You will leverage our proprietary trading infrastructure to uncover inefficiencies across global crypto markets and convert them into systematic, risk-managed strategies operating

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to solve complex quantitative problems.
• Hands-on experience building systematic strategies in crypto or financial markets.
• Understanding of probability, statistics, and time-series analysis.
• Experience with data-driven or machine learning models in production.
• Programming in Python, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with exchange APIs and low-latency infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and run algorithmic trading strategies across crypto spot and derivatives markets.
• Identify structural inefficiencies and cross-venue opportunities across centralized and decentralized exchanges.
• Study order book behavior, liquidity patterns, volatility shifts, and funding dynamics to uncover alpha.
• Improve execution performance by optimizing latency, fill rates, and slippage control.
• Deploy and maintain strategies within our internal trading framework.
• Continuously evaluate live performance, risk exposure, and capital efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to enhance trading systems, connectivity, and execution logic.
