Job summary

Numidia in Nederland zoekt een Quality Officer die onze producten, processen en systemen bewaakt volgens de hoogste normen op het gebied van veiligheid, naleving en duurzaamheid. Je maakt deel uit van een kwaliteitsteam en behandelt klachten, voert root-cause analyses uit en initieert correctieve en preventieve acties.

Verder ondersteun je audits en certificeringen, beheer je non-conformities en draag je bij aan milieu- en sociale-impactverbeteringen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS, GMP+ and ISO 14001 sustainability standards.
• Preferably experience with complaint handling, non-conformities, CAPA and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with EcoVadis or similar sustainability assessments.
• Proactive, accurate and well-organized with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with ownership, customer focus and initiative.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

As a Quality Officer, you ensure that our products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability. You will be part of a quality team consisting of one QA Manager and five Quality employees.

Within this team, an important focus of your role will be complaint handling. You will investigate customer, supplier and internal complaints, identify root causes and make sure the right corrective actions are taken. Just as importantly, you help initiate improvements to prevent similar complaints from occurring again.

You play a crucial role in maintaining our certifications, managing complaints and non-conformities, and continuously improving our environmental and social impact.

• Preparing documentation for customers and suppliers;
• working in accordance with food & feed safety and sustainability certifications, including ISO 14001, BRC, IFS and GMP+;
• maintaining and improving internal documentation, procedures and guidelines;
• active member of the HACCP / VACCP / TACCP and EMS (Environmental Management System) teams, as well as the recall team;
• supporting and conducting internal and external audits, including sustainability audits and EcoVadis assessments;
• managing customer, supplier and internal complaints and non-conformities, including thorough investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions and follow-up;
• monitoring quality trends and complaint data, identifying improvement opportunities and initiating preventive actions to reduce recurring complaints;
• creating specifications and COAs;
• onboarding suppliers, including product, warehouse and transport;
• collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment on quality and environmental topics;
• responding to urgent quality-related tasks across the organization.

Wat neem je mee?

• Has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management or a related field;
• has knowledge of food & feed safety and quality systems such as ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS and GMP+, and sustainability standards including ISO 14001;
• preferably has experience with complaint handling, non-conformities, CAPA processes and root cause analysis;
• is familiar with EcoVadis or similar sustainability assessment tools;
• is proactive, accurate and well-organized, with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills;
• has a collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership, customer focus and initiative;
• has good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems;
• is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
