Job summary

Planet Pharma in Kerkrade, Netherlands is seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive manufacturing excellence and ensure product integrity.   • Proven ability to work independently on moderately complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of sharing information clearly and supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with investigations, CAPA, complaint handling, and data trending.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects through to completion.

Your expertise will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, lead investigations, manage quality data trends, and collaborate across multiple departments to uphold the highest standards of quality. Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 2 years of industry experience
  • Practical knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and documentation requirements

  • Experience in microbiology or regulated industry environments

  • Familiarity with global standardization and site-level QMS practices
  • Prior guidance or mentorship roles within a team setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, microbiology, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience or advanced degree with relevant experience
  • Practical hands-on experience supporting manufacturing quality activities in a regulated setting

Other Requirements:

  • Location: Kerkrade, Netherlands
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Immediate start preferred
