Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Quality Engineer to own end-to-end quality across features, from requirements to production. You will build robust test automation, ensure performance, and safeguard release pipelines in a cross-functional team.

You will design API automation with RestAssured and Spring Boot, integrate tests into GitHub Actions, and monitor systems with Datadog, Jira, and Zephyr Scale, while practicing a shift-left quality mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing.
• Hands‑on experience using RestAssured and the Spring Boot ecosystem for API automation.
• Proven track record in designing End-to-End test suites and executing performance/load testing.
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions for automated build/test pipelines, along with Postman, Zephyr Scale, Jira, and Datadog.
• A shift‑left testing mindset and the ability to catch issues early in requirements phases.
• Fluent English communication to articulate quality risks and concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of quality for incoming features—from early requirements refinement to deployment and production monitoring.
• Design, implement, and maintain API and end-to-end test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable feedback loops.
• Plan and execute performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure high availability.
• Monitor system behavior in pre-production and production with observability tools.
• Organise, document, and manage comprehensive test plans and execution reports.
