Job summary

We ARE Renewables in Rotterdam seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support high-voltage projects, including substations and transmission lines. You will manage quality documentation, inspections, and ITPs, ensuring compliance with project quality standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• MBO-level vocational education in mechanical or civil engineering (required).
• At least 2 years of experience as a QC Inspector.
• Experience with steel structures and coating inspections and/or civil works with concrete.
• Experience reviewing NDT reports and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Participate in pre-inspection meetings and coordinate inspection points.
• Contribute to quality documentation and review work package requirements.
• Review ITPs and QC plans submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure quality procedures and work instructions are available and followed.
• Advise on QC procedures and verify qualifications and certifications.
• Review inspection and testing results including NDT, concrete tests and coatings.
• Assist FATs with Lead Engineer and client, coordinate NCRs and corrective actions.
• Maintain communication with clients and inspection bodies on quality issues.
