Job description

Safeguard system integrity at the source – so every radar that leaves our factory performs when it counts.

As our Quality Assurance Specialist, you own the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our advanced radar systems. You work side‑by‑side with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Service – developing quality plans, preventing defects before production handover, and driving corrective action when issues arise. You report to the Operational Excellence Manager, and you're a big part of why our customers can trust what we deliver.

What You'll Do

Quality planning and QMS governance: Maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) by continuously developing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control plans (QCPs). Establish clear component acceptance criteria to ensure standardised work and regulatory compliance across our operations.

Continuous improvement and root cause analysis: Lead cross‑departmental and supplier quality improvement initiatives using structured methodologies like 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, and FMEA. Analyse defect trends, eliminate recurring nonconformities, and verify the long‑term effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

Testing, validation and system integrity: Oversee functional and system‑level testing, calibration protocols, and data integrity for advanced radar systems. Guarantee high reliability and compliance before final production handover to maintain product excellence.

Technical review and CTQ alignment: Act as the voice of customer quality during design and procurement reviews. Evaluate technical drawings, product specifications, and documentation prior to supplier release to embed Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters early.

Supplier audits and material acceptance: Manage supplier qualification, perform regular supplier audits, and oversee incoming goods inspections. Verify testing logs and material certificates to enforce purchase order specifications and authorise component acceptance or rejection.

Defect tracking and process maturity: Develop and monitor metrics that measure failure rates, defects, or software bugs across products and quality processes. Use this data to quantify product maturity and measure team progress over time.

What You Bring
  • University degree (BA, MSc, or MBA) in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, auditing, or quality control within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and QMS governance.
  • Experience in Lean strategies, ideally backed by a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Proficient with quality management systems and data analysis tools for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven project management skills and structured analytical thinking in complex environments.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with basic Dutch considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across international, diverse backgrounds.
  • A proactive team player at ease with internal colleagues (Operations, Engineering, Procurement) and external suppliers.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in organising risk assessment management and willing to travel up to 10%.

N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.
