Responsibilities
  • Keeping the HACCP- and quality system data accurate and up to date for the trading desks.
  • Managing the QA desk with regard to the planning of all mandatory (BRC) requirements.
  • Preparing for and facilitating external audits including follow up and root cause analysis.
  • Preparing and conducting internal audits.
  • Leading the HACCP team and expanding the Food Safety Culture in collaboration with the team.
  • Reviewing and approving supplier certifications and specifications.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to analyze and resolve quality complaints.
  • Developing and maintaining product specifications.
  • Monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance.
  • Organization of relevant staff training, such as food safety and food safety culture.

Beyond these tasks, there is significant room to take ownership of projects and expand your responsibilities such as optimizing internal processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in quality management, food science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in a trading environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the latest quality and food safety regulations, e.g. BRC Agents & Brokers and EU regulations such as Contaminants and Pesticides.
  • Hands-on audit experience and demonstrable internal audit competence.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.
  • A meticulous and detail-oriented work approach.

This position offers flexibility with working hours and the option for partial remote work (in consultation). The role can be part-time or full-time (24–40 hours per week).
