Job summary

PKG Partners is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager for a site-level leadership role in the southern Netherlands. You will own the quality system, audits and improvement agenda across cGMP, ISO, and BRC standards, guiding a nine-person quality team.

Responsibilities include coordinating audits, managing non-conformities and CAPAs, reporting KPIs to senior management, and ensuring regulatory and customer compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at HBO level in Quality Management or related
• Minimum five years in Quality Management, preferably in packaging/printing
• Thorough working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, GMP and BRC Packaging
• Experience conducting audits and internal self-inspections
• Experience developing and maintaining quality procedures and protocols
• Line management experience supervising shop-floor inspection staff
• Proficiency with quality management software and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal Dutch and English

• Own the BRC Packaging Management System, act as primary contact for audits, non-conformities and CAPAs
• Coordinate and manage customer and certification body audits; plan supplier audits and internal self-inspections
• Conduct internal audits, HACCP reviews, and chair Risk Management Team meetings
• Lead a team of nine; direct and prioritise six-strong quality control inspectors
• Drive improvement initiatives on quality, efficiency and cost with sustained outcomes
• Report KPIs to management and prepare regulatory and parent-group reporting

Job description

Site-level quality leadership with a packaging manufacturer supplying regulated end markets, part of a listed international group, in the southern Netherlands. Nine direct reports, reporting to the General Manager.

Own the system, the audits and the improvement agenda.

The Quality Manager is responsible for the quality of products, services and processes

across the organisation — combining compliance assurance with continuous

improvement, and acting as the site's subject matter expert to senior management.

About the business

A packaging manufacturer producing printed packaging components to tight specification and high volume for regulated end markets, manufacturing under cGMP and ISO standards in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Part of a listed international specialty packaging group.

What you'll do

• Maintain and improve a pragmatic Quality and Environmental Management System across ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, GMP guidelines and BRC Packaging.
• Own the BRC Packaging Management System outright, and act as primary contact for audits, non-conformities and CAPAs.
• Prepare, coordinate and manage customer and certification body audits; plan and report on supplier audits and internal self-inspections
• Conduct internal audits, coordinate periodic HACCP reviews, and chair the annual Risk Management Team meetings.
• Lead a team of nine, directing and prioritising the work of the six strong quality control inspection team.
• Initiate improvement initiatives on quality, efficiency and cost, and see project outcomes sustained.
• Report on departmental KPIs to the direct manager and senior management, and prepare reporting for regulatory authorities and the parent group.

A hands-on quality leader who can carry an audit and run a team of nine.

You’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree at HBO level in Quality Management, Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years in a Quality Management role, preferably in packaging or printing.
• Thorough working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, GMP guidelines and BRC Packaging.
• Demonstrable experience conducting audits and internal self-inspections.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining quality procedures and protocols.
• Line management experience at team scale, including supervision of shop-floor inspection staff
• Proficiency in quality management systems and software, including Microsoft Office, CERM and Q-Pulse.
• Excellent written and verbal Dutch and English

Package and Benefits

Fixed salary of €85,000 - €100,000 plus management bonus.
