Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D team in Gdańsk, Poland. You will validate security sensors and peripheral devices across wired and wireless portfolios, focusing on functional correctness, robustness, and real-world reliability, with relocation support provided.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance domain.
• Experience in Quality Assurance for hardware, embedded, or electromechanical products.
• Hands-on experience with device-level testing in lab and/or field environments.
• Ability to translate product and system requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Strong attention to physical, behavioral, and usability edge cases.
• Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice.
• Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Good command of English language (in writing and speech).

Responsabilidades

• Validate functional behavior of security devices
• Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, recovery scenarios
• Verify battery performance and power consumption profiles
• Perform environmental and robustness testing
• Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
• Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
• Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
