Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Python Backend Developer with 7+ years of software development experience to build robust backend systems. You will work with FastAPI, RESTful APIs, and unit tests (pytest) to ensure high-quality, modular code.

Docker-based development and Azure deployment are preferred competencies, with familiarity in Azure Storage (CosmosDB) and Graph API. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with typing, async programming, and dependency injection, and a plus is knowledge of

We have demand for Python Backend Developer, who should have experience in below skills. Can we look for consultants with these skills.

Core Python skills:

• Having more than 7+ years of experience in Software Development, expertise in Python.
• Strong knowledge (3+ years) of Python 3.x features,
• Clean, modular, testable code
• Proficiency with typing, async, dependency injection
• Experience with modern Python API framework (preferably FastAPI)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, Integration with third‑party APIs
• Unit testing (pytest), mocking and API contract testing

DevOps Skills:

• Docker-based development
• Experience deploying APIs in Azure

Cloud (Nice to have):

• Azure EntraID (Identity and access management)
• Microsoft Graph API
• Azure Storage Solutions (Storage Account, CosmosDB)

Additional skill:
