Job summary

Avetix Engineering seeks a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow its established Dutch public-sector portfolio, with emphasis on police forces and the Ministry of Defence. The role focuses on outbound sales, account growth and managing tender-driven revenue.

You will nurture relationships with government bodies, manufacturers and police authorities, translating requirements into winning solutions in a complex B2B environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales within complex environments.
• Strong ability to win and grow business in public-sector and manufacturing contexts.
• Proven track record with tenders, procurement processes and long sales cycles.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a significant existing customer portfolio, currently worth approximately €2.5m.
• Develop new business across the Dutch public sector and manufacturing market.
• Proactively identify and pursue new commercial opportunities.
• Manage and follow up on public tenders that underpin the business pipeline.
• Build strong relationships with police forces, government organisations and manufacturers.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into commercially compelling solutions.
• Navigate complex procurement processes and public-sector bureaucracy.
• Work with internal technical and operational teams to deliver for customers.
