Job summary

ADC Consulting in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines for public sector datasets and to develop production-ready data foundations for analytics and AI initiatives.

You will work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and clients to deliver secure, reliable data solutions in regulated environments. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with travel within the Netherlands expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in large organizations.
• Strong foundation in cloud platforms and data pipelines.
• Experience in regulated/public sector environments and governance.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel within the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for public sector datasets.
• Develop data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud following security best practices.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and client stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
• Promote governance, model monitoring, and operational excellence across projects.
