Job summary

Bunk Amsterdam is seeking a Public Area Custodian to keep our public spaces spotless and welcoming. You’ll pay close attention to every corner, ensuring bathrooms are stocked and clean, and that soaps and shampoos are never missing a pump.

Most tasks are performed independently, with pride in delivering guest-ready spaces. You’ll also be a friendly face for guests, sharing quick chats when you meet them and helping housekeeping teammates when needed.

Qualifications

This position requires legal permission to work in the Netherlands.
You like Bunk and share our hospitality vibe.

Responsibilities

Maintain spotless public areas, including rooms corridors and bathrooms.
Ensure soaps and amenities are stocked and never run low.
Work independently while supporting housekeeping when needed.

Public Area Custodian at Bunk Amsterdam

Just a short trip into Amsterdam Noord, you’ll find Bunk. Our hotel features 106 rooms and a hostel area comprised of unique and innovative pods, where we host guests from all over the world for an affordable price. But neither a hotel nor a hostel is anything without the people who keep it running: our housekeepers are what makes our world go ‘round.

About You

The devil is in the details, and you are someone who has an expert eye for them. You are all about precision: from never missing a dusty corner in a room to making sure soaps and shampoos in the public bathrooms aren’t missing even a single pump, nothing escapes you. You make sure everything is spick and span so that every guest that walks through Bunk’s doors has the best experience possible. You’re comfortable working alone, you love it, actually – but you also enjoy helping your colleagues in Housekeeping whenever needed. While you might be a neat freak, you’re even more of a people person, and love some quick chats with guests that you meet in the building throughout the day.
