Job summary

Urban Mobility Systems develops practical electrification solutions for heavy machinery and emission‑free transport. You will build and modify prototypes, translating designs into functional assemblies while collaborating with engineers to improve products.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in a relevant field such as Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering.
• Proven experience with assembly, prototype construction or product development.
• Strong mechanical skills and basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
• Independent, accurate and solution-oriented.
• Hands-on mindset with attention to quality and detail.
• Affinity with electrification and sustainable mobility.
• Good command of English; Dutch or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Building, assembling and modifying prototypes of products and systems.
• Supporting the mechanical and electrical integration of prototypes into vehicles and machines.
• Translating technical drawings and schematics into functional assemblies.
• Performing mechanical assembly, wiring and basic electrical work.
• Identifying and solving practical bottlenecks during the build process.
• Testing, analyzing and improving prototypes in collaboration with engineers.
• Documenting build steps, changes and findings.
