Qualifications

Proposal Engineer – Steel

We are looking for a precise Proposal Engineer Steel to support our product managers and the internal sales organization. Your role is to take the initial ideas from the client or organization, perform initial feasibility checks, and produce a price and specification ready for a contract. You will work collaboratively across departments within C&MC and Damen to determine the best solution for our clients, while ensuring our products are standardized and all sales data is up to date.

Responsibilities

• Support in the development of new sales opportunities
• Ensure compliance of the products with maritime law and regulations
• Deliver accurate cost prices for our products
• Assist in managing the product portfolio

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cost estimation experience in a maritime or technical environment
• Preferred: experience with pontoons, Salesforce, and proposals
• Affinity with concept design and software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks
• Higher professional education or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or maritime field
• Good command of English and Dutch (written and verbal)
