Job summary

KLG Europe is seeking an experienced Project Manager Logistics & Transformation to lead organization-wide improvement initiatives within our growing logistics operation. You will move between management and the shop floor, engaging people in change and ensuring that projects deliver measurable results in quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost control.

The role offers flexible hours, a hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel, and opportunities to shape digitalization,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, industrial engineering & management, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management and change management.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or production environments.
  • Experience with system implementations, process improvements, and organizational change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Agile, or similar methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to guide stakeholders through change and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, lead, and implement organization-wide improvement and transformation projects in our logistics operation.
  • Optimize transport, warehouse, and cross-dock processes.
  • Implement TMS, WMS, and other logistics systems.
  • Lead change programs focused on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI structures.
  • Monitor objectives, budgets, resources, risks, and progress of projects.
  • Lead strategic transformation by engaging stakeholders and embedding improvements.
  • Report progress and results to management and stakeholders.

For this purpose, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Logistics & Transformation.In this role, you will not only lead projects but will primarily be responsible for realizing lasting improvements within our organization. You move effortlessly between management and the shop floor, know how to engage people in change, and ensure that projects deliver measurable and sustainable results in the areas of quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost control.

What are you going to do?
  • You will be responsible for initiating, leading, and successfully implementing organization-wide improvement and transformation projects within our logistics operation. Examples of projects include:
  • Optimization of transport, warehouse, and cross-dock processes;
  • Implementation of TMS, WMS, and other logistics systems;
  • Change programs focused on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction;
  • Dashboarding and KPI structures;
  • Monitoring established objectives and being responsible for planning, budgets, resources, risks, and project progress;
  • Leading strategic transformation initiatives by connecting stakeholders, creating support, and sustainably embedding improvements within the organization;
  • Reporting progress and results to management and stakeholders.

Your profile
  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Logistics, Industrial Engineering & Management, or Supply Chain Management;
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management and change management;
  • Demonstrable experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or production environments;
  • Experience with system implementations, process improvements, and organizational change;
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities;
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Agile, or similar improvement methodologies;
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational awareness;
  • The ability to connect stakeholders at all levels and guide them through change;
  • A results-oriented, decisive, and independent working style.
