About the vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities across multiple complex projects. This role is critical in ensuring procurement strategies align with project goals, timelines, and budgets while maintaining compliance and maximizing value. The ideal candidate will serve as the key procurement interface within project teams, driving supplier performance, risk mitigation, and seamless coordination across stakeholders.

What will you do?
  • Lead procurement efforts across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and value delivery.
  • Act as the primary procurement liaison within project teams, collaborating with Project Directors, Technical Leads, and Category Managers.
  • Develop the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) based on the Project Procurement Strategy set by the Category Managers.
  • Manage procurement activities in line with the Project Procurement Strategy (PPS) and the Project Procurement Plan (PPP):

- Ensure all Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are signed.

- Collect information (e.g., statement of work, schedule, annexes) for the Request for Proposal (RFP).

- Manage issuance of the RFX (RFI/RFP/RFQ) via the NewCold Document Management System (AutoDesk Construction Cloud).

- Ensure that proposals are issued in time and notify stakeholders.

- Facilitate bid clarification meetings with relevant stakeholders (technical and commercial).

- Cooperate with Category Manager.

- Manage and expedite inputs from stakeholders to develop the contracts.

- Organize and lead regular procurement meetings to track progress, identify risks, and drive action plans.

- Manage end‑to‑end tendering processes including RFQ preparation and bid evaluation.

- Align contractor selection with the project team and the category manager following the category strategy.

- Support Category Manager with contract negotiations and execution.

- Ensure all contracts and purchase orders reflect key terms from the Main Contract and are legally robust and auditable.

- Manage the collection of insurance certificates from selected contractors with support of the Insurance department.

- Manage the collection of bank guarantees from selected contractors with support of the Project Controls department.

- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs such as quality, schedule adherence, responsiveness.

- Escalate issues and support corrective actions in collaboration with project and category teams.

- Ensure alignment and communication across cross‑functional and cross‑project sourcing efforts.

- Identify procurement‑related risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Guide the escalation process related to contractors.

- Support claim management processes for delays, non‑conformities or disputes.

- Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation in line with project filing protocols.

Reporting & Transparency
  • Provide visibility into procurement performance and issues to project and central procurement teams.
  • Facilitate accurate forecasting and demand planning to ensure supplier capacity and lead time compliance.

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in Project Procurement Management, preferably in engineering, equipment and construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, tendering processes, and supplier management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven experience in working in an international project organization.
  • Certified or actively seeking certification in CIPS/NEVI or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus.
