About the position of Project Manager Technical Building Systems

For our location in Schiedam, we are looking for a Project Manager Technical Building Systems who can guide technical projects from A to Z.

In this technically challenging role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing hard service-related projects and activities. These projects relate to our buildings and associated installations. As part of the facility and maintenance department, you will serve as a technical project manager for renovations, replacements, and improvements.

What do we expect of you?

You have a strong technical foundation and a passion for the built environment. You combine your technical knowledge with management skills to ensure 30,000m² of production halls, 10,000m² of offices, and 90,000m² of grounds function optimally from a technical perspective.

Your technical expertise includes:

• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security)
• Construction knowledge including maintenance techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of safety regulations and certification requirements
• You know how to critically question suppliers about their technical work and can translate complex technical issues into practical solutions

• A completed bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of work experience
• A project-oriented work approach with a strong focus on detail and quality
• Interest in facility management

You are:

• A natural coordinator who effectively manages technical parties
• The key translator between end users, suppliers, and technical specialists

Some practical things we need you to have

• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
