Job summary

Super Micro Computer B.V. is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for pre and post technical sales activities, working closely with Engineering, Sales and extended teams to ensure proposals meet customer requirements.

The role involves planning, coordinating internal and external resources, managing obstacles, and improving PM processes, with domestic and international travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience directly managing projects.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
  • Prior experience establishing Manufacturing assembly processes.
  • PDU / Power Shelves / Busbar experience.
  • Fluent in English speaking, writing and presentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skill.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project plans, tasks, resources, and ownership to ensure timelines are met.
  • Manage internal and external projects which may extend to suppliers and contract Manufacturers.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for the planning and execution of projects.
  • Proactively work to remove project obstacles, identify, and manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities.
  • Actively drive the enhancement of project management processes, tooling and templates to improve the project management function.
  • Provide timely status reports and program summaries including scope/schedule/quality risks, project status, resource allocation and customer impact.
  • Domestic and international business travel, less than 10% of the time.

Job Summary

Super Micro Computer B.V. is currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for both pre and post technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Potential Candidate will be an individual contributor working closely with Engineering, Sales and Extended teams to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements.
