Job summary

• Proven experience leading complex organizational or compliance projects.
• Experience with ISO 27001 certification projects or ISMS.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
• Excellent planning, coordination and organizational abilities.
• Experience conducting gap analyses and turning findings into actionable plans.
• Ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams and locations.
• PM certifications or relevant training are desirable.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (ISO 27001) to lead the expansion of an existing ISO 27001 certification across multiple locations. One location has already achieved certification, and your role will be to assess the current state of the remaining sites, define the roadmap for certification, and coordinate the successful delivery of the project. You will work closely with key stakeholders and build the appropriate project teams to execute the required activities. This role is heavily focused on project leadership, stakeholder management, and driving organizational change rather than hands-on ISO 27001 implementation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses across multiple locations to assess their readiness for ISO 27001 certification.
• Define the required steps, timelines, and deliverables needed to achieve certification.
• Develop and manage the overall project plan and certification roadmap.
• Coordinate and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders across different business locations.
• Establish and manage project teams responsible for carrying out the certification activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the standardization and alignment of processes across all locations.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to management.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex organizational or compliance-related projects.
• Experience with ISO 27001 certification projects or Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent project planning, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• Experience conducting gap analyses and translating findings into actionable project plans.
• Strong people skills with the ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams and locations.
• Project Management certifications or relevant training are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are considered a plus.
• 6-month contract.
• 24-28 hours per week (depending on the project phase).
• Hybrid working model with 2 days onsite in the Amsterdam area.
