Overview

Project Management Officer As a Project Management Officer (PMO) within the FEC Business Risk program team, you play a key role in enabling effective communication, planning, and reporting across the strategic initiative. You support the Program Manager in driving the FEC Business Risk Change Program, which includes multiple workstreams focused on enhancing the bank's approach to Financial Economic Crime (FEC) risk management.

The Project Management Officer will be responsible for:

  • Include maintaining oversight of all relevant initiatives within the program, understanding their interdependencies, tracking progress, identifying impediments, and enabling integrated steering;
  • You collaborate closely with stream leads to prepare decision-making documentation and actively participate in Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings.
  • Facilitate program communication, planning and reporting;
  • Coordinate, manage and set up regular progress updates and reports;
  • Track team action points;
  • Coordinate reports for program management and committees;
  • Provide overall support to the program manager and stream leads;
  • Manage work stream dependencies and flag risks and issues;
  • Where possible coordinate your own sub-project;
  • Maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders;
  • Pro-actively collaborate closely with the program manager and key stakeholders in steering the program.

The Project Management Officer will ideally have the following skills:

  • A completed Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field;
  • Project management (support) experience;
  • Demonstrable relevant working experience (3+ years), preferably within financial services;
  • Excellent communication and planning skills;
  • Experience with setting up project or program reporting and overview of progress;
  • Experience with managing stakeholders on (sr) management level;
  • Take ownership for achieving results. You bring structure, and have great execution power, are flexible to switch quickly when necessary;
  • A can- do attitude, eager, energetic and fast learner;
  • You have a positive presence, with a touch of humour and a passion to drive change & execution;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, verbal and written.
