Job summary

Versado is seeking an experienced Project Leader in Heerlen to drive outdoor space projects, lead a team and manage safety, quality and budgets. You will coordinate with clients and partners, supervise engineering and work preparation, and ensure smooth progress and financial control on UAV-GC contracts.

The role requires HBO level education, 5+ years in project leadership, and a proactive, coaching leadership style. A driving license B and VCA VOL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO education, preferably in engineering or landscaping.
• Minimum 5 years as project leader or in project management.
• Experience with UAV-GC contract management (preferred).
• Knowledge of system landscapes and process optimization.
• In possession of a driving license B and VCA VOL certificate.

As Project Leader in the Heerlen region, you are the driving force behind realizing successful outdoor space projects. You lead your team on a daily basis and ensure that projects are carried out safely, to a high standard of quality and within budget. You are responsible for day‑to‑day operations, engineering and work preparation, and you keep a sharp eye on the progress and finances of each project. Working with UAV-GC contracts is familiar territory for you, and you know exactly how to put the customer at the center of everything you do.

On an average working day, you start with a morning briefing with your team to discuss tasks and priorities. After that, you monitor the progress of ongoing projects, make adjustments where necessary, and regularly consult with clients and other involved parties. You are the point of contact for both your own team and external partners, making sure everyone is aligned. In between, you focus on optimizing processes, resolving bottlenecks and coordinating work preparation and engineering.
