Searchability® is seeking an AI Project Lead or Programme Lead in Amsterdam with a hybrid pattern. You will own customer relationships and the end-to-end AI delivery from workshop to live deployments, covering LLM search, RAG, and production-ready solutions for asset-heavy industries.

You will work closely with founders, engineers and consultants in a fast, high-performance environment, delivering multi-customer programmes with proactive stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Three years plus working experience.
• Technical background; able to work with engineers.
• Experience implementing AI or software solutions.
• Knowledge of LLM search, extraction and production deployment.
• Experience owning external customer relationships end-to-end.
• Familiarity with Jira and structured delivery methods.
• Ability to start and run projects within weeks.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer relationship and the project from A to Z.
• Delivery runs in small pods with a project lead, two AI engineers and a tech lead.
• Sit between engineers, founders, other leads and the client.
• Run discovery workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Set the AI roadmap for customers.
• Own the PRD and IT requirements.
• Guide solution build from first contact to live.
• Manage stakeholders on both sides.
• Run two or three customers in parallel or one in depth.

• AI Project Lead or Programme Lead, permanent, full time, Amsterdam hybrid
• €5,000 to €7,000 per month, plus 8 percent holiday allowance, 26 days holiday, car possible
• Own customer relationships and AI delivery end to end, from workshop to live

ABOUT THE CLIENT

An AI consultancy in Amsterdam building AI solutions for operational, asset heavy industries. Maritime, offshore, manufacturing, energy, ports and logistics, with customers at the 1,000 employee plus end.

They are the end to end partner rather than a supplier of one piece. Vision and strategy, data foundation, AI implementation, then adoption and change management once it is live. The business has moved from single projects into full programmes with the same customers, which is why this role exists.

The team is heavily technical. Econometrics backgrounds, software and AI engineers, and a deliberately high performance culture. Fast, flat, and not a nine to five.

THE ROLE

• You own the customer relationship and the project from A to Z.
• Delivery runs in small pods, a project lead with two AI engineers and a tech lead, sometimes a consultant alongside. Whether you are called Project Lead or Programme Lead comes down to whether you go deep on one customer or spread across two or three.
• You sit between the engineers, the founders, the other project leads and the client. It takes genuine responsibility off the founders, so it is a core seat in a business this size rather than a layer of process.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

• Running and guiding discovery workshops with senior stakeholders, often alongside a consultant
• Setting the AI roadmap for your customers
• Owning the PRD and the IT requirements
• Guiding the solution build from first conversation through to live
• Managing stakeholders on both sides, yours and the client's
• Running two or three customers in parallel, or one in depth

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Three years plus working experience
• A technical background. You do not build, but you need to understand how it works and hold your own with engineers
• Experience of technological implementations, this is the hard requirement
• Understanding of LLM search and extraction, RAG and how these projects actually get to production
• Comfortable owning an external customer relationship end to end
• Working with Jira and structured delivery
• Able to run projects within a couple of weeks of starting, this is not a role with a long ramp

DESIRABLE, NOT ESSENTIAL

• Startup or scale up background
• Interest in operational, asset heavy industry, maritime, ports, manufacturing or energy
• Consultancy or client side delivery experience

WORKING PATTERN

Two days in the Amsterdam office, two days on customer site, one day from home. Customer sites include Rotterdam and Apeldoorn.

PROCESS

Three stages and they move quickly. An intro with the founder, a technical conversation, then a case with the tech lead and the second co-founder. Two weeks end to end.
