Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Zaandam is seeking a Project Engineer to drive improvement projects in the warehouse and lead implementations for new customers. You will work with fellow Engineers to optimize layout, analyze data, and support business cases for automation.

Based in Zaandam, you report to the Engineering Lead in the Operational Excellence department. The role is Monday to Friday, with office hours 08:00–18:00; mutual agreement allows up to 1 day a week remote and some travel within the Area.

Qualifications

• Minimum HBO level in applied sciences.
• At least 3 years of relevant logistics work experience.
• Experience with project-based work.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP tools, and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiar with Power BI or data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma; SCRUM is a plus.
• Good command of English; working language is English.
• EU resident within commuting distance; visa sponsorship unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Identify changes by analyzing existing processes, procedures and systems.
• Coordinate a partial implementation or improvement project.
• Develop models for capacity, productivity, throughput time and other metrics.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage projects including stakeholder engagement, timelines, budget oversight, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Based at Zaandam warehouse; report to Engineering Lead in Operational Excellence.
